Currently OnDeck shows the series poster. You want the season poster instead? Just curious why you would prefer the season poster?
I can understand it a bit, when the main poster shows characters or props that are long gone in the current season.
I can get that. Although it might get a bit confusing if there is an in season special that pops up with the special poster and you are expecting the season poster.

Not bad per se IMHO. It points out, that the playback order does indeed include special episodes automatically… 
I just realized, I never responded. Cast changes, props, etc. change and I think it would just be nice to have the option. Thanks.
I share the same request that an option is added for plex clients so that you can either display episodes with their current season cover or the default cover for the tv show.
As mentioned, it’s not a big issue, however it would certainly be a nice feature. Personally, I don’t think that special episodes cause an issue here but everyone is different and hence it would be good to have the option within Plex.
Hoping we mean to use the season poster for the season the episode is from, which might not be the current or most recent season. And when you fix the “On Deck” to use the correct season, move that idea onto “Recently Added Television”
Weird thing is, the Recently Added section uses a season poster if you add 2 or more episodes at a time from the same season, but the default Show cover if you only add a single episode. So it’s half way there now.
