I apologize if this has been asked before, but I’ve looked for an answer with no success so far.
Is there any way to get the On Deck and Recently Added Television features to use Season Art instead of Poster Art?
Here’s a quick example,
Lets say we have a non specific TV Show with the word Gear in it, maybe it’s the one on Top. In that particular and random unspecific example, the presenter (or plural) have changed. The show On Deck however still shows the original art work depicting the original trio or presenters (again, non specific example), even though it’s on say, season 24, where those presenters aren’t around anymore. How can i get the show to use Season artwork instead.

You cannot force Plex to use a specific folder. OnDeck will always use the season folder. Recently Added will use whatever is appropriate, if you added multiple episodes of a season, it will use the season poster, if you add 1 episode or multiple episodes from multiple seasons, it will use the show poster.
I dunno, on all of my apps, On Deck uses the Series poster, not the season poster. Always wondered why the Series or show poster would be assumed to be the best choice, for the reasons stated by @mrmebeotchi . Cast changes among other things can make the “Show” poster almost irrelevant.
Recently added also chooses the “Show” poster, not the season poster when you only add a single episode. But as @“MovieFan.Plex” says, uses the season poster if you add two or more episodes from the same season.
Not a deal breaker, but the poster selection is not consistent or necessarily logical, IMO…
