I operate the plex server that my family uses and even though there is a bar that says " recently added," I still get texts and calls from my parents asking if I’ve added a certain movie or TV show yet. I would love the ability to create a custom banner that would pop up after opening the plex app so that my parents would stop bugging me about if I’ve added their shows or not.
Preferably, the banner setting would:
- let me customize what is said
- the banner would pop up on every device linked to my plex account. That way, if I create a banner meant for my parents and I open the app on my device before they open the app on their device, they will still receive the banner on their devices.
- the banner setting would allow me to chose how many times the banner pops up on each device. Maybe I want it only popping up once, or maybe 2 or 3 times just in case.
- and of course if I didn’t have anything to say on the banner, the plex app would open like normal
