Not sure where to create this but here goes anyway.
What I would like to see or if anyone has input to help me do this would be great. My library’s are great and plex does a wonderful job with its interface. But my family and friends on occasion request stuff and I add this to a folder called request. Now once i have it there i need to either call them, text or email letting them know its there and where. My request for Plex is simple.
- For Admin use only - a place on the initial home screen with a spot for an announcement that can be edited, removed or whatever so that it can publish a small message for all to see when they log on . Not to advertise or anything like that just something to inform the user group that their request is there and here is where it is.
Please keep in mind that I have elderly parents and friends who are a little computer and Smart tv challenged to a simple banner if you want to call that where some sort of message or instructions can be put in plain sight for them to read and follow would be a great thing.
Hope i explained it so it makes sense.
