Currently, filtering on a category is restricted to “OR” searches, I would like to be able to filter performing “AND” searches too.
As an example, In my list of movies, I can filter on Genre, and If I tick ‘Romance’ and ‘Comedy’, I would expect to see a list of all RomCom movies (Those tagged with Genres of Romance AND Comedy).
However, as the filter is doing an “OR” selection, I get ALL Romance and ALL Comedy genres, not just the ones that are tagged as both.
Maybe when the [+] button is clicked for a filter, an AND/OR/NOT selector can be displayed, and then onto the filter categories.
This would allow me to search for all movies that have the Genre Romance AND Comedy.
There are also times when I would like to be able to EXCLUDE genre matches.
For example, if I want to view a movie with the genre ‘Family’ but NOT ‘Animation’
