I would like to be able to set a filter of a specific genre for tracks. I want to make a smart playlist of specific genre and with certain ratings. Right now, I am unable to do that. For example, Alternative genre tracks with a rating of 4 or 5.
I would like to be able to create a Playlist of all songs from the 90’s that I rate 3+ stars. How can I do this?

Tons of activity around this feature request on the forums, look up “Genre on Tracks” and you will see many pages of post after post asking for this. They need to be combined so you know how many are really looking for this feature.
This is one of many threads asking for improved support of embedded ID3/Vorbis tags.
Since all votes were lost with the new forum changeover, I have taken the opportunity to rework one of my ID3 tag feature requests into a more comprehensive request for tag support.
This would be a great opportunity to consolidate all the votes that were spread across so many threads before, and maybe get some much-needed attention. And now, everyone can vote!
