Really nice to see work happening on Plex Media Player, which is still the best way for me to control Plex from the couch - so that is highly appreciated.
Currently
When navigating to letter “S” users would either have to scroll a ton of items or use the alphabet letters on the right side of the library UI.
Expected
It would be quicker and easier to just press “S” on the keyboard and be on the first entry for “S”. Maybe because keys are already in use like “i” showing detailed information, this could also be done using ⇧"search_string".
Been wanting this for years. It is how Apples Music app behaves (typing in library goes to corresponding library location. “S” goes to Sa… while “Sam” goes to Sam B…
I always wondered why Plex did not support this simple and effective way of navigating the library.
