Feature Request - Lock UI toggle on mobile device player

As the father of 2 children, one of them currently 2 years old, I’m finding that having the ability to lock the UI would be immensely useful.
My 2 year old doesn’t yet understand the principle of a touch screen and when holding my phone to watch some shows she will regularly stop the shows from playing. I thought a toggle somewhere on the screen to lock the UI so it can’t be pressed would reduce the likelihood an frequency of this happening.

Lock screen for touchscreens

I have 2 tablets which I use for my special needs children to watch shows on. They really enjoy touching the screen and therefore often skip/stop/mess with settings while watching. Before plex I used VLC and it had a feature where you could lock the display/controls while watching to avoid interrupting playback. And then click a small area of the screen to unlock. I really would like this feature in the PLEX player for mobile devices. It would be great if there was a code/pattern that would be…
