I would like to request something that’s not really a messaging system, but more of a broadcast system. Give the owner of the server the ability to send a broadcast message to everyone so that when they sign in a message pops up for them to see.
if broadcast = 1
then “display message”
blah blah you get the idea. I’m not awake enough to think in code. But this would be wonderful for notifying people of server down time, updates, etc.

Presumably anyone you’re giving access to your Plex server is a close friend or family member that you already communicate with outside of Plex. Just make an email list in your email client and add users to it each time you grant someone access.
I’ve actually really been wanting a feature like this as well. I usually have multiple users on my server and I don’t have everyone’s email or phone number. If I could throw a message out for everyone to see that would be cool.
