Hi there,
I would really appreciate, if it’s possible to handle special informations, like “Extended Cut”, “Directors Cut”, etc.
So it would be nice, if you would recognize that and give us the option to choose which versioin (Extended Cut, Directors Cut, Normal, etc (if we have more than 1 version for each movie) we want to watch.
// Edit: [Feature Suggestion: Sort in the MediaFiles]
At the moment, I’m using filebot to handle my files. But I’m not satisfied with this solution. So It would be really, really great, if plex could manage the database (like in iTunes). So you got an input folder, where you can put your files in. Plex will run a scan, fetch the information an sort it like you configure. For me, it’s really important to keep the Realease Name and everybody wants to have another structure. For me it would be: ($DATABASE/Filme/A.Great.Movie.2013/A.Great.Movie.2013.Extended.Cut.BluRay.1080p.x264.AC3-DETAiLS.mkv)
I know plex isn’t developed for this reason and this would be a lot of work. But I think there are many users who would really appreciate this. (At the moment, there aren’t many solutions to sort your media files)
thanks
This is one of those edge cases that cause me so much pain with Plex. Its these edge cases that make it hard to view Plex as perfect for all my Media.
Ideally it would show us the choice via a similar menu to the one that allows us to select 1080 vs SD video feeds. In fact at the moment the 2 versions both show up for me in this menu already, but they are the same resolution and I cant tell them apart.
