I'm a big fan of Plex and loving the new features coming on board, I would like to request 1 feature I think would benefit the community, please leave comments and your views good or bad.
Creating TV style channel with a timetable for when my movies/tv series are to play, user should be able to define or randomise exactly when there content is to be played for immersion just like a free view channel when you push TV schedule we should be able to see what will be playing later/tomorrow/next week etc.
Example to have
Friday - channel starts @ 6pm
Trailers to play
Film 1 to play @ 6.15pm
Trailers to play
Film 2 to play @ 8pm
Channel stops and will resume on Saturday
Saturday - Channel starts @ 9am
Trailers to play before films starts
Kids film 1 to play @ 9.15am
Trailers in between
Kids film 2 to play @ 1pm
Trailers in between
Film 1 to play @ 5pm
Game of Thrones to play once a week on a Saturday @ 7pm, *As you add new episodes to your collection this should sync to automatically to your timetable.*
Channel stops and will resume on Sunday @ 9am
By using collections/search features you can tailor what should be played at what point of the day and it still remain randmoised if that is what you want to choose.
The reason why I would find this feature useful, As I've amassed lots and lots of shows/movies I find myself being VERY selective about what I want to watch. To have a TV style feature on Plex that can randomise and slot films into times I set would just allow me to look forward to the content I have amassed.
