Feature request - option to manually remove item from On Deck

I very often watch a few seconds of my media to remind myself of the content but don't intend on watching it through, especially if the few seconds have ascertained that that's not the media I'm looking for. But this means it stays on my On Deck until my set duration expires (yes, I know about this setting). This completely goes against the purpose of On Deck, which in the developers' own words aims to answer the question "What do I want to watch?" Yet annoyingly, almost at all times, over 50% of the items in my On Deck are items that I DON'T want to watch and don't plan to watch. I don't how else to describe a scenario that more spectacularly defeats the purpose of an implementation.

I understand that user rectification of this problem is possible. In the past I simply marked the movie or the entire TV series as watched, then remarked them as unwatched, and they would be gone from the On Deck. However, I've just tried that 10 minutes ago for three TV series and the moment I remarked them as unwatched, back they pop up on my On Deck. A second suggestion would be to reduce the On Deck weeks to 0 in this setting, which I decline to take.

Both methods of user rectification are unsatisfactory and incomplete. So let us have an option to manually indicate that we don't want a particular movie or TV series in the On Deck, regardless of the watched or unwatched status. A second option to permanently bar a movie or TV Series from appearing on the On Deck would be useful too.

The solution, as you described, is to mark things watched that you don't want appearing there.  If the item (or the entire TV series) is marked watched or unwatched, it will not appear in On Deck.  If it does, that's a bug.  What client are you using to mark them watched/unwatched?

I used the web dashboard on OSX Mavericks. I set them to watched and they went away from On Deck, but then I set them back to unwatched as they should be and they were back on On Deck again (in the past this toggling used to work to remove items from On Deck and still maintain their accurate unwatched states, but not anymore).

I should also mention that these TV series are half watched, the earlier seasons are watched and the later ones not, so this could be why On Deck thinks I want to finish off the series. But I have many TV series that are this case and they don't clutter up my On Deck.

Okay, yeah...  On Deck assumes that if you've started watching a series, then it's a good candidate for something you might "want to watch," which I think is a good assumption in almost all cases.  If you want to write off the series, you can just mark the whole thing as watched and it will disappear from On Deck.

Given that this is a feature voting thread, and it doesn't sound like there's a bug here, I'll leave it to see what happens in the voting.  Pardon the interruption :)

Sometimes I have some tv shows that I see sporadically, but i don't want to have them on deck, and also, I don't want to loose the watched status of the individual episodes. So to have this feature would be really helpful, thanks.

I would also like to add an option to clear out all items in on deck

+1 as well.
