When I try to play high def flac music tracks (as opposed to 16 bit flac tracks) on my Roku plex just cycles through them without being able to play anything. It would be nice if Plex could handle the higher quality format. Currently I have no convert those tracks to mp3 to get Plex to play them, which represents a significant drop-off in sound quality. Plex does play the lower quality Flac tracks fine.
I only have problems with flac files larger than 96hz. I vote to have this fixed at as well.
@jh39 can you post the media info xml for at least one of the affected files (a sample would be great too, feel free to PM the info).
The Roku should be able to direct play FLAC 24bit/96kHz files, so I am confused as to why it’s failing.
