This is such a no brainer! Please work on it!

Agreed. Should not be hard for the PLEX developers. Netflix made an app. As a Plex Pass member…I would pay another $5 for a Plex App for the Gear VR.

Me too, really painful having to transfer media onto the phone…

I want to sort of upvote this, but no idea how. Please let me stream plex to the moon. I like it there. This is the right place right? Please excuse my English.

I can play sbs movies I HAVE ON THE Plex server through the plex android app . Just the ability to show a 2d movie as a properly formatted sbs movie through the app would do almost everything needed without a new player for the phone

+1 please do this! Hundreds of thousands of people today are getting a gear VR for free with samsung S7 preorders - there is definitely a market!

You can currently watch videos through the built in web browser via html5, but it’s clunky.
Integrating an app like netflix where you can have void theater, and a proper UI would be amazing.

I installed "Package Disabler Pro on the Note 5 , Used the app to disable Gear VR service , Started Plex (i have a VR folder installed on my pc loaded with vr movies(SBS)…inserted phone into Gear vr and watched :-)…and to answer the big question…Yes, porn works…lol
