Feature request Plexamp Raspberry Pi

I could not find a collection of feature requests for (headless) Plexamp on the Raspberry Pi so I guess I start here…

  • Automatic bit/sample rate switching.
  • Easy installer package.
  • Clear documentation about for example the server.json options.
  • Fix stability/memory leaks
  • Open source Plexamp(?)

I totally love PlexAmp and hope the development continues!

Thanks for the list! Big new version of Plexamp coming soon, then we’ll have to revisit the embedded version.

A feature I would like is to be able to synchronize a feed to multiple Plexamps. I’m looking to transition away from LMS/squeezeboxes and this seems like the perfect application!

From Plexamp in Windows connected to my Raspberry Pi I can control the music, but I cannot change the volume.

I am able to change the volume with my phone when connected to my Raspberry Pi via Casting.

Would be nice to be able to control the volume with the Windows app as well.

I’m using a PHat DAC from Pimoroni

It would be nice to play with new version of Plexamp during Thanksgiving break.
