Hi, the last plexamp for headless RPi was from january, and there is some fixes that already been discussed like the node +9 incompatibility and the the locked sound card with avoid other streaming services work on the same rpi. When we will get a new beta update? Plexamp for headless rpi is awsome when (and if) it works.

Sorry, it’s taking longer than expected because we’re working on a major rewrite of Plexamp, which will make things like this easier to address.

ok, thank you. Please, keep strong at plexamp. it is a wonderful piece of software, and it makes me turn to plex all my music library. Today a very few audiophile people adopt Plex for music. They use Volumio, Roon, and others, but with Plex (and plexamp for RPi ) we can combine the movies and music with one single platform. If plexamp for RPi became stable, it will open a new world for music streamers to connect direct to integrated amplifiers. Chromecast Audio (via toslink) works fine but it don’t have volume normalization neither gapless playback. Plexamp does and RPi with toslink hat is an affordable solution.
