Is it possible to have PlexSync work with a roku? I was looking at plugging in an external hd into the roku for storage and being able to sync a few movies to it.
No, it's not currently possible. We think (at the moment) that it's a niche use case, but I have a little counter in the back of my head for every time it comes up (2). Feel free to mention it in the feature voting forum and see if there's much support for it.

It would be a good funcionality, but many people own Rokus without USB port.
Personally, I'm more interested in the CloudSync release and integration with the Roku? :)

You're right, I forgot the USB is read-only but I just double checked and it is.
what about the microSD card in Roku 2 and 3's, are they also read only, could we store shows there?
