Feature Request: Poster-Art search engine

Hi there.

I think the poster-art window is missing an important feature.
As everybody knows you can select a poster-art picture either via selecting an imagefile from filesystem, entering an url or drag&drop an image.

But what do you do, if you do not have an image on your disk? You switch to another browser tab, use google image search (or any other search engine), select a picture, copy the url of the picture, switch back to the plex-browser-tab and enter the url in the poster-art-selector…

It would be much easier and handier, if the poster-art select dialog would offer one more option, where you can enter a search keyword. In the background this keyword now is used to search the internet for media and afterwords the hits (for example the first 10 or 20 hits) could be shown. The user now can select one image and this is downloaded and attached as poster-art / cover-art / background-art…

I don´t know for sure if, but I don´t think that copyright of the “image owner” is applicable here, because the use of the image is for private purpose only.

This would be a great new feature to plex and make it more user friendly!

Benni
