I have Plex set up for my 87 year old mom, who loves watching TV and watching from my media library. Originally, I had her set up using a Roku smart TV but the interface for Roku itself was lacking so now I’ve switched her to Fire TV. Of course, Plex itself is not different on these devices.
At any rate, I am hoping you guys will make it easier to recognize which is the currently selected item. The fact that the selected item’s image/poster is slightly larger is not easy for her to detect. As I am the type to try to help her to learn something by not giving her the answer, but by having her figure it out herself, I ask her which poster is larger, and she may often say none. Especially on playlists, the playlist image is marginally larger when selected.
I noticed for the initial letter filtering, besides making the letter larger, you highlight the letter is an orange glow. It would be great if you guys would do the same for a selected image/poster. This would make it much easier for her to recognize which item is selected and could even serve as a bit of eye candy to make the interface a little flashier. Of course, this could be an option.
