I have a plex setup and my family enjoys it. We have the kids movies on there (Moana, Trolls, etc) but I am hesitating to add some of my movies that I’d like to conveniently watch (Deadpool, etc).

I’d like to be able to create either a new library that is passcode protected or be able to identify select videos as passcode protected. Similar to how on the AFTV when I want to buy an app I have to enter my passcode.

Is this already there? Any thoughts you can provide would be awesome!

Plex’s answer to parental control is Plex Home. You can create user accounts for your kids, and either restrict what they can watch based on ratings or custom labels, or put their videos in a separate library and only share that library with their accounts. You can then PIN-protect the User account that has access to everything.

I agree that assigning PIN to libraries is easier to manage than using Plex Home, therefore I support the idea.
