Feature Request: Remember Last Position Played For MP3 Files
Background and Need:
The ability for PLEX to remember the last position played for videos is great and speaks to the busy schedules of most people. The luxury of being able to pause and resume playing exactly where you left off adds value to the PLEX system.
This feature would be of great value for MP3 files, particularly when used as podcasts and audiobooks.
With the popularity of podcasting and audiobooks, there is a need to be able to catalog the gigabytes of mp3 files and provide an easy way of access.
PLEX provides the cataloging and access.
Adding the ability to remember last position played, and make this available through all of the clients (Web, ROKU, Android and the built in DLNA server) provides users with the ability to listen to their library of podcasts and audiobooks anywhere at anytime with the convenience of not worrying about where the last position played was.
Combine the cataloging of podcasts and audiobooks, anywhere anytime access and now the ability to remember the last position played continues to ensure that PLEX is in a league of its own with a robust, rich and enjoyable user experience.
