Feature request: see bandwidth used by others

The request is quite simple:

currently, we have no way of figuring out where our traffic goes, so i'm suggesting:

- no counter for local traffic (doesnt really matter when its local, does it?)

- a counter day/week/month related to the user using your plex (ie: yourself or someone you shared libraries with)

- a way to have this in an easy overview, so you can see where your bandwidth is going

some of us still have bandwidth limits, others just want to know where their traffic is going (ie: a lot of unexplained upload could mean malware within the network)

the reason i'm now requesting this feature is because i recently had a moment where my NAS was running full throttle on its discs,

for nearly 24 hours, and i can see there was a 10+gb upload from the nas (and also to the internet),

but i have no way of knowing if it was plex (and *who*) that uploaded.

This could be useful.

What about using PlexWatch?

plexwatch doesn't do bandwidth logging, and since it uses the plex logfiles...

i'm guessing plex isn't doing any bandwidth logging.

ofcourse, if the devs make plex just LOG bandwidth usage, the guys behind plexwatch could probably implement it in their scripts.

divide and conquer :)
