Nothing is currently playing, “remote access is not available outside your network” and the remote stream bitrate is limited to 320kbps and I do have a remote user configured.
Looking at the dashboard, I see bandwidth for remote spiking to around 170bps every few seconds. Is this a description of Plex or Host activity?
The graph looks dramatic because of the view (a common trick in data analytics), but it’s really not much usage. Most likely, you are seeing your usage for the viewing the usage.
Very interesting and thank you. Two questions come to mind - how could you tell what was being broadcast from my Plex and, because I don’t have any relationship to a site in Belize, how can I stop it?
I don’t think @FordGuy61 was capturing traffic from your server. I think they looked at something of theirs to see what the traffic might be.
Plex uses the “plex.bz” domain for some cloud stuff. It isn’t in BZ, it’s just a vanity domain that looks cool. The .bz was advertised as “for business” at one point.
