As of right now, every time I pause a video and decide to watch it later it asks me if I want to resume or start over. I think if there was a toggle in the settings (maybe a per-user setting?) that would allow for it to automatically pick resume/startover then it would be a lot more convenient. This way, I can just click “play” and sit back and enjoy, rather than wait for the second prompt every time I want to continue watching a half-watched show or movie.
