So as our libraries grow the one thing I find myself becoming more frustrated with is the search. It’s especially frustrating when you go from using Google and then jump onto Plex only to see the search fall over constantly.
A simple example of this is the following.

Which client are you using to search with?
The new improved search is only currently available when searching in Plex Web (where the example you gave works fine):
Other official Plex clients have this feature in their roadmap.
I’m using the web client and I just tried it again and it doesn’t show me anything like yours. It has Actors, Shows and Movies.
