Feature Request: Store metadata in a file next to video/audio

 

I have had to move video content around as I add extra hard disc and upgrade systems. It would be nice if the metadata for things like poster, movie database match, etc was stored in a file next to the video so if you move a movie from one folder to another you don't have to go back in and rematch a movie, set language, subtitles, movie poster etc, it would reread the data the metadata file.

I hear you, but Plex policy seems to be not to alter users media store in any way

(Kinda makes sense, since then Plex can't be blamed for anything)
