Quite often the kids are watching something in my living room, streaming from my Plex server (a mac mini pulling content from my NAS) and it would be great to be able to watch what they’re watching on my TV in the kitchen (samsung TV with native plex app). Presume this would be like the watch along feature, but in my case it’s all in the same house so we’re all the same username on each of the devices we log in on, and it’s all streaming on the local network. Would be nice so I can watch along whilst cooking tea, and then be able to go back into the living room at the same point I left in the kitchen!
I think what you’re asking for is covered in this relatively old and relatively popular suggestion.
Unless I’m mistaken I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting votes (in which case we’ll close this thread as a duplicate).
Good spot, I did search but didn’t think to look for tandem playback! Sad it’s so popular and so long standing and not yet implemented…
