I would like to request the feature to support the 3 letter language code NLD. Plex supports .nl and .dut, but many subtitle downloaders write to .nld. I've already asked the developer of the subtitles downloader and they of course told me to ask for the feature here. Someone should make it possible no ?
Plex goes off of ISO language codes for subtitle language support. Specifically, it supports [ISO-639-1](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ISO_639-1_codes) for 2-letter codes and [ISO-639-2/B](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ISO_639-2_codes) for 3-letter codes. Unfortunately, "nld" is not defined or supported under ISO-629-2/B as a 3-letter code. The valid 3-letter code for that language in that specification is "dut".
(To be clear, "nld" *is* defined in some other ISO 639 sets, but those aren't the sets being used.)
Yeah I found out about that. I believe nld is iso-639-2/T. The problem is that filebot writes to nld
Is this still the case? I’m also affected by this problem. Now I have to manually script all my .DUT.srt subs from filebot to .NL.srt for plex to detect them. I obviously aim for as little as possible manual intervention.

@“Chris C” This is still an issue, according to the linked wikipedia articles both dut and nld are in ISO-639-2/B and only nld exists in ISO 639-3
