Every mobile Plex platform has the ability to sync Movies, TV Shows, even individual shows. However, I have yet to find the ability to make a playlist as something that can be sync'd. This would be - for me - feature parity with Spotify as I can mark my playlists there as offline ... except with my own music.

No, had the pass since before the price change. My ISP has been having some issues, so I'm guessing it was most likely that.
I read through the link comments and noted that Elan has confirmed (several times) that playlist synchronisation is coming. That's good news. That means, for me, throwing away iTunes for everything except purchasing media. If Plex start selling media too, well...

+1. This is the final option I need to finally ditch itunes altogether. Syncing a playlist before an 8 hour flight would be a game changer!

Similar to sharing playlists with other users and friends, the ability to sync playlists is a must have for TV shows and music!
Offline playlists for music is a must! can’t sign up for the lifetime subscription until this feature is added.
Amazing app for TV & Films. Not so great for music yet.
Copy paste Google Music and it will be perfect

Syncing playlists would be a game changer for me too. I’m the kind of guy who wants to just start playing music, and let it go without having to go find the next track. Sometimes I even take a nap with a playlist going. Currently can’t do it on mobile.
