I recently purchased some Phillips Hue lights and thought to myself - wouldn't it be cool for the lights to dim when the movie starts to play! It seems like the developers have been doing a lot of work to simulate the movie theater experience - and I think this would go a long way to add to that experience.
I can see two possible ways of handling this - perhaps through the use of a Plex IFTTT channel this sort of thing could be accomplished OR direct integration of the Hue API.
This sort of feature would allow for Plex and Hue to become the must haves for any home theater!
