There’s a suggestion to have some automatic detection of “bad stuff”. Technical feasibility aside… it appears there’s very little interest in this feature so far.
This might be a long shot, but for us parents with young kids, it would be great if Plex could modify the playback of movies to ‘parent approved’ videos. What I mean is if a movie is rated R, due to nudity, then on playback it would just auto-skip that scene.
Maybe Plex could scan the video and use AI to identify bad words and naked scenes? Then maybe on playback in parent approved mode you could mute the audio when bad words are said and just auto-skip nude scenes?
It’s a tough request, but…
