The release notes for Plex Media Server 1.23.0.4459 and 1.23.0.4438 are identical, save for a single bullet under ‘Fixes.’ This seems to be happening a lot lately. It’s not a huge issue, but it does make it harder to see what has actually changed from one build to the next.

That explanation doesn’t really hold up. I randomly went back in the PMS Announcement thread, and found release notes for 1.18.2.2015 and 1.18.2.2029. There was no duplication between the notes for those two minor revisions of the same version. So it certainly isn’t necessary.
