How do you rate your music while it’s playing on your big screen tv?

On mobile client while track is playing you can go and set rating. On web client can get to library track view and set rating for any track.

But how you rate it while it’s playing on big screen? I am running client on shield. I see star rating when track is playing but it’s not clickable!

This is really awkward. To rate track I need to grab my phone, open Plex, find track that currently playing on tv and rate it from mobile!

Is there any way to do it directly from client that plays music?

There’s a feature suggestion thread for this – although it appears the few users who actually voted for it have now re-allocated their votes. It doesn’t seem this feature has a lot of attention/support at the moment.

This is an easy and valuable feature for the music playback interface experience.
Let’s upvote to get the attention of the developer team.

There has been number of enquirers on Reddit over the last few years.

I just sideload Plexamp and it can use for rate music.
But the downside are need to create a Android TV icon and the interface not design for remote.
I have to use mouse :computer_mouse: for most actions.
