Is there any place in the forum where I can see what features the Plex team are currently working on for the next Plexamp release (some form of roadmap would be excellent)

No, Plex doesn’t share a public roadmap.
IIRC this has been requested / discussed several times over the years. Some feedback emphasized that roadmaps and priorities change. A public roadmap will just get people excited and then disappointed if a feature is dropped or de-prioritized for whatever reason.
You’ll find the occasional “we’re working on this” or “this is on our list” here in the forum (e.g. for Plexamp). Though, those messages rarely come with an ETA.
