Fedora Server 26 (no gui) - Post installation | Unable to access web app

After installing plex on a minimal Fedora Server, I’m unable to access the web app to continue post installation setup. Nothing ever shows up (http://192.168.1.11:32400/web). The server is running as a vm on ESXi 6 and has no gui. Trying to do all of this through BASH. I’m able to SSH into the server just fine. I know that I got the correct IP address setup and I went as far as to remove Firewalld (don’t need it anyways for a home environment.)

Yes, I have rebooted

I’m unsure as to what else to do next as I’m unable to use a web browser to check the localhost side. I am still very green to Linux in general. “Why not stick to Windows?” you might ask? Because I don’t learn anything new from using Windows anymore. That and want to make this plex server as lean as possible. I’m using ESXi to prioritize resources on VMs and containers.

With that being said, if you tell me to just “install and configure” said dependency, I’m going to need a little bit more info like “Where is the config file?” and what do I need to input if it is not ubiquitous across OSes.

I greatly appreciate any assistance that anyone can provide.

guessing with ESX you may not all be on 1 subnet, so follow the “on a different network” instructions to get a tunnel up.

Actually it is all on the same subnet. I have a Windows vm (running a plex server now) on the same vSwitch as this Fedora vm and it works just fine.

And I did see that guide and tried it before asking the questions above. It did not hep.

then best grab the server logs and post them - if that IP is correct, the firewall is off and the server IS running something weird is happening

When you say that nothing ever shows up, do you mean that the page is completely blank (web app never loads) or that the web app loads but can’t find your server?

I would like to state that I never figured out this problem. I scrapped it and have a dedicated PC running my Plex Server now.
