Plex server launches through app.plex.tv but not via https://ipadress:32400/web

Server Version#: 1.20.1.3252
Player Version#: N/A

As the title says I am unable to “launch” the server App that’s running on my DS720+ (either by clicking on “open” in the Synology package centre or going to https://ipadress:32400/web in a web browser, both return “page can’t be open”), going to app.plex.tv works as expected.

I have tried different browsers, there have been no changes done to my network lately.

To be clear, that’s the Plex Web client, not a server app.

For the local version use http not https.

thanks, that didnt help unfortunately.

Maybe try the full url.

This solved the issue @trumpy81, thank you!

Hi:
I am having the same problem-in addition to steps 1-8 you suggested, I uninstalled Plex from the NAS (a Diskstation 718+), deleted the entire Plex library, that is, everything but my media files, reinstalled Plex server on the NAS. Everything seems OK but when I try to access http://NASIP:32400/web, I still get a blank screen in Safari, Firefox and Chrome. The only change is that I moved the NAS to a completely different service provider, but everything is working correctly so I doubt this is the issue. Attached are the logs.zip file(File removed)-thanks for your assistance

Just did-the Enable firewall checkbox is and was not checked.
Can you think of anything else?

There is NO checkmark in the Enable firewall checkbox-so I assume this means the firewall is disabled-correct? I am able to access the NAS and copy files in both directions (computer to NAS, NAS to computer) quickly with no messages, so I assume all of the connectors are OK-but if you think that is the problem, I can switch cables, etc.

Server is running, but I will check all of the connections-thanks
