I’ve only been using it for a few days, but the first thing I noticed was that it “forgets” any customizations I’ve made to my library as soon as I exit.
example:
- I launch the new interfaces and I’m on the home screen
- I switch to “My Libraries” and choose a library from the pull-down (nice interface for that).
- I am always presented with the “Recommended” screen, which I don’t want to see for this library
- I switch to the “Brwose” screen, which I do want to see
- I am presented with everything in order of Title, which I don’t want to see.
- I filter by “Unwatched” only, and order by “last episode date added” so I can see my most recent unwatched stuff
- I either switch libraries, switch back to “Recommended”, or hit the home screen button and the interface completely forgets my filters and ordering.
- It also forgets my preferred screen; if I switch to “Home”, and then go back to the library, it puts me back on “Recommended” even though I last left on “Browse”
This is not the way it used to work, and it could be just a glitch in the beta interface, but just in case it’s not, can you please fix this. The preferred behavior is:
- When I switch from “Home” to “My Libraries” and choose a library, it puts me back on the screen that I last left on. For me that would always be “Browse”
- When I’m in the “Browse” screen, it remembers my last filter and ordering choices, and doesn’t just go back to “All” by “Title”.
The old interface has both these features.
