Server Version#: 4.63.0
Player Version#: IOS 7.23
I am new to Plex. I have installed the Media Server on my Windows 10 computer and I have a few thousand folders and 65000+ digital images, scanned photos, and videos (MP4, MOV, etc.) spread over 2 internal hard drives and 1 USB-attached Drobo unit.
I have created a few Photo-type Libraries that include folder pointers to my 2 internal drives and Drobo. My folders contain a mix of both images and videos.
I have Plex players on my iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV 4K.
When I display my content in my Libraries, I prefer “Album” view (rather than “Photo” view) so I can see the filenames.
I am seeing different display results on my different platforms. See the attached screenshots.
On my iPhone and iPad, when I navigate to a folder that contains both JPGs and MP4s, the photos do not display their filenames, instead it displays the date I scanned or took the photo
On my Apple TV 4K, the photo filename field is blank.
The video MP4 files do correctly display their filenames as expected.
.
I have two questions:
- Is there a setting to display the photo filename of the photo in album view?
- Is there a setting to display the file extension in album view?
Thank you!
