Files with both HDR10+ & DoVi Profile 8 metadata show never ending spinning wheel

I’m experiencing the same issue as described HERE on my Apple TV 4K 3rd get (2022). The only difference is that I got the spinning wheels going on forever. The Plex app on my Samsung TV correctly plays HDR10+ version.

Have you tried multiple files with both HDR10+ and DV metadata?

Sure, at least 4 and none of them actually started. Just the infinite spinning wheel…
