I posted a topic about this where i got the answer that it is not currently possible
Currently the layout for the plexamp app in windows is dependent on the actual window size.
My suggestion is to make the layout an option that can be forced manually in the settings.
Currently i am forcing the window with a script to be bigger than my actual screen to get the layout i desire.
Perhaps a better suggestion is to just to allow the visualizer to fill up the whole width of the window in layout 2 in the gif
theres a lot of dead space in the window like this.
Enter the Plexamp settings, Experience, Player, Side-by Side Layout [disable]
That is better than the current layout, i would however prefer if the visualizer is filling the whole screen

but of course in the 16:9 aspect ratio
