Filter Kids Movies PG 1990s and newer?

Is there any way to setup the parental controls to allow a kids account to have access to G or PG movies that are 1990s or newer?

I have tried the separate folder idea but struggling how to find and move all movies that are a certain date and rating.

You can use an Advanced filter and subsequently multi-select the filter results and apply a certain sharing label or simply change the age certification of these movies by editing them all together.

Oh I like where this is going but need to see if I can select A BUNCH of movies to add a label.

I do see I can create the filter and then save it as a collection, are you able to share a collection to a user profile?

So I created a collection with your advance filter trick and then edited the collection and in Sharing you can add a label, so I created a label. Then when back to the restricted user and said they could only watch movies with that label, but seeing a error so perhaps it needs to refresh…so close!

Thanks BigWheel. I was struggling to select all. I can select one by one or shift select a page at a time but then I have to scroll and select again. If I scroll to the bottom of the page with shift it still only selects that page but not the selection from the top all the way to the bottom. I will go back and re-read that link and see if i am missing something simple.

Also I like this collection option where I can mass create a collection and add a label and then use that label in the user restrictions but I am not sure if that is working correctly.

Not sure how many items we are talking about but try scrolling slowly to bottom so all the posters load. Due to paging when you scroll fast it only loads items which would be displayed when the scroll stops

Lots! , but I am wondering if its a better idea or feature request to be able to restrict by collection on a restricted user vs having to label a ton of movies.

The issue with that is the a movie can be in more than one collection.
