Filter not working

I am trying to filter my Movies list (on an Android tablet) so that only those films in the specified folder are shown, but when I do this Plex still shows all movies across all locations. Can someone sense check what I’m doing…

  1. I select ‘Movies’ (I can see all my movies across all folder locations I’ve previously specified)

  2. I select ‘Browse’

  3. I select the filter icon and scroll down to select ‘Folder Location’. I then select the folder path, from the list, that I want.

The displayed film list is NOT filtered - I can still see all films from all locations - even though the filter icon has my specific path displayed. Is there a ‘Process Filter’ button I need to press? - I can’t see one.

Which player app is this happening on?

I forgot to add the player - it’s on my Android tablet. It’s the latest Plex Android app (2025.31.1)
