Fire TV cube not playing directplay

I have installed Plex on my fire TV cube but all movies 1080 and 4k HEVC video files is not playing via directplay instead via transcode. How do I make the Plex app play directly without transcoding???

H264 level is only recommending me 1.0 which makes the quality of the movies really poor. If I change it to say 6.0 it is playing the movie through transcoding. How do I make it play direct play??? Audio seems fine and via direct play

Would really appreciate if someone could respond asap

I don’t know why your 1080 content is transcoding, but 4K HDR files are being transcoded and it’s a known issue, you need to sideload an older version of the FireTV App if you want to direct play 4K, or wait for a patch

Thanks mate. Installed the previous version to the latest one and seems to be working fine now…
