Fire TV/Google TV - Video Loading Bug

I’m experiencing a very annoying issue when I select a video to begin playback. While the video is loading and the screen is black an orange circle appears right in the middle of the screen indicating that the video is in the process of loading. That loading circle is supposed to completely disappear right before playback of the video begins. However most of the time I play a video this orange loading indicator does not timeout before playback begins.

So I routinely get the first 3 or 4 seconds of each video I play having this annoying circle stuck right in the middle of the image once it starts playing. This seems to be some type of bug because that loading circle should be gone before the video playback actually begins. I don’t have this problem at all on the Plex app for any of my Roku players. On those devices the loading circle always disappears before the video playback begins 100% of the time.

But on the Plex apps on my Google TV and Fire TV Cube both I constantly get this loading circle being stuck over the video issue. I have noticed that sometimes if I back out and load the video a second time the loading circle will disappear as it is supposed to before playback begins, but not always.

Can somebody fix this? It’s so annoying to have the video begin playing while right in the middle of the picture there is a stupid annoying orange loading circle that won’t go away! Whoever designed this behavior needs to correct the issue.

Once a video has actually started playing it is no longer in the ‘loading’ stage, therefore a loading circle should never be on the screen during playback. Please update the app so the orange loading indicator goes away when it is supposed to! BEFORE the video starts playing!
