That’s probably two different things:
You’re using the legacy mobile app. That app still needs to be unlocked for the account who’s using it (if you have a Plex Pass, that will also remove the 1-minute playback restriction.

I believe what you’re referring to is the remote streaming restriction that was introduced with the new mobile apps. Those no longer have the 1-minute playback restriction. But to stream from them remotely, you either need a Plex Pass or Watch Pass membership… OR the servern owner from who’s server you’re streaming has a Plex Pass membership.

If this is the legacy app will they be releasing a new version as thats the only one available via the amazon app store.
Can someone confirm this? It seems strange that this update came out the day after the major update and is considered legacy.
