FireTV client - bringing back theme music support for TV shows

In the good old days, we had not only electric light and the automobile taking over huge parts from the horse drawn carriage market share, we had support for Theme Music for TV Show libraries on FireTV Plex Clients.

In 2018, we do not have it. Plex Web still has it, so we all know that it is technically possible :wink:

I really hope that your developers have it on their agenda, now that my wife and me celebrate the third anniversary of being living without it while choosing from TV shows


Please bring it back. It would be most welcome and there should be code snippets already being available somewhere in your archives :wink:

I’m running Plex on my FireTV, and when I go into a series the little background snippet of the theme music plays. Is this what you’re referring to?

Me too. Been that way for a long time. 2xFireTv and 1xFirestick (1gen)
