When sorting albums by title, the Plex UI (on the web and clients) displays the artists name as the most prominent thing.
This is confusing because it’s the title which should be the most prominent - to match the sorting method.

Edit: I incorrectly stated in the image that this is an issue on Plexamp. This isn’t true as, to date, Plexamp doesn’t support sorting by album title.
I totally agree. This is really confusing! Is there anyway to fix it quickly?
The good news is that Plexamp now supports sorting by album title.
Unfortunately it too has exactly the same confusing UI:
Why is “Ed Sheeran” before “deadmau5”? Why is “Air” after that? Oh wait, we’re sorting on the smaller grey text below the artist names!

Ooh, this is a very good example of why this should be adjusted to show the album or track title on the top line if that is what you’re sorting by.
Completely agree with this. Especially for classical music where the artist list can be long and convoluted, the album title is the only place where the repertoire is mentioned. So wish there was an option for this
