Hey guys, so when I try to fix an incorrect match in my music, the agent is finding the correct entry from MusicBrainz, but when I click on it the pop-up box disappears and then nothing happens? it doesn’t seem to trigger a refresh of the metadata. Any ideas on how to force it to fix the match?
That might be a new bug.
Can you show the name you have and the new name “Fix Match” suggests?
Might you consider renaming the files / fixing the tags such that the correct album is found natively ?
So the original reason it didn’t match was because the album didn’t exist in MusicBrainz. I’ve added it but it’s the same thing? I’ve also renamed the album folder but it’s reverting back to the same database item in Plex. Any other ideas? Or is it just a bug?
You added it to MusicBrainz?
There is a delay between when new content is added at MB until it shows at Plex (monthly database sync interval).
it is showing in plex, just when I click on that record nothing happens, it’s like it doesn’t trigger a data refresh
that might be a bug with the new matching code.
If you take the media and perform a full plex dance
(move out, scan, empty trash, clean bundles, move back, scan)
does it then find it correctly?
If so, then I will write up and submit a trouble ticket
So yes that does seem to work, it matches without any intervention if I do the dance.
