I’m trying to have Plex find “Cunk on…” (2018) but it wants to default to either “Cunk on Britain” or “Cunk on Earth”.
TMDB has a listing for “Cunk on…” (2018) specifically, but when I try to Unmatch/Match it within PMS, it can’t find it - instead only finds “Cunk on Britain” or “Cunk on Earth”
TV Library level Scanner is set to Plex TV Series.
TV Library level Agent is set to Plex Series (which uses TMDB by default according to the Metadata Agents support article).
TV Library level episode ordering is set to TVDB.
TV Show level episode ordering is set to TMDB for this show in it’s individual settings.
Is there a way to have it set so the show is found as it is listed on this page at TMDB: Cunk on... (TV Series 2018-2022) - Seasons — The Movie Database (TMDB)
Plex naming conventions are correct as 1) it’s pulled directly from Filebot (latest version) and 2) this is the only show I’ve had where I can navigate directly to it’s webpage on TMDB, but Plex can’t pick it up.
Is there a bug with Plex and TMDB communication regarding this?
I realize I could simply do the two different shows approach, but I’m baffled as to why I can’t do the one show approach since it’s explicitly set up that way in TMDB. Like I’m TRYING to have Plex see it the way that it should be, and instead it’s treating it as if I’m trying to go against the metadata source.
I’ve also posted to Reddit, link here, but haven’t found a solution yet. where everyone seems to just want me to go to two different shows, but that’s not answering the question of why Plex can’t see what TMDB is recommending.
