I’m trying to watch a series and I had to shift the subtitles by 15 seconds - a lot of presses. Plus there’s the doubt you’re going the right way, meaning the first times I was going backwards and forwards to see which was closer
I agree this is desperately needed and would suggest an inverse approach is more appropriate - so starting with larger steps of 500ms or 1000ms as we are more likely to want to correct a sync which is 15 seconds out than one which is .3s out.
This would be a great QoL update
Please add me to the long list of users who want this subtitle offset command improved. Direct input of offset times, rather than a tapping-button, seems like a straightforward improvement to make.

We have the option to adjust the subtitle sync with steps of 50ms. With old shows and movies I have allot of times that the subtitles are allot of seconds out of sync. For a faster way to sync the subtitles I would like to see additional steps of 500ms and 1000ms.
Well, this sucks that this issue is so old without anything having been done. I was just watching a show, and when they switched to a different language, i downloaded a subtitle track through the plex ui. it was way off, so i tried the next most popular one. equally off. I committed to fixing it, timed the difference, and then started clicking. 89,250 ms offset, and I could only click 50ms at a time. Just give us a text box to enter a value. we can stick 90k in, then move around with the 50ms buttons to tune it in.
6 years later this is still relevant. must be quite hard to add a 100ms or 1s button on the side of the current ones or god forbid an option to sent our own steps.
my mouse is sufferring…. 10 second offsets, what, 200 clicks? ughhh. Casting my vote to improve this.
bump. This is the most infuriating thing about Plex honestly. Just let us HOLD DOWN on the button to increase the steps quicker. Usually, downloaded subtitles are off by 10 seconds, 30 seconds 40 seconds, you’re actively giving your users carpal tunnel.
It’s a problem on all platform I’ve tested, PC, Android, TV. website or app. PLEASE CHANGE IT.
